Everything is for us

I truly believe that when we’re on a conscious growth path, everything can be used to our advantage.

In fact, part of raising our consciousness is making the shift from things happening to us, to things happening for us. How much more empowering is that? It’s fascinating to me that adjusting just one word changes everything.

It’s easy to see the benefit in events and interactions we deem positive, but for the purposes of this entry I’m focusing on the more challenging ones.

I’ve noticed they typically fall into three categories (with a little overlap):

• They show us what we do not want.

• They show us how far we’ve come (when we respond differently than we have in the past).

• They reveal where we still have healing work to do; aka trigger us in ways we cant ignore.

At a minimum, difficult times can be a catalyst for self-exploration and an invitation to learn and grow.

However, I believe they can also offer an opportunity for deeper healing if we can stay present enough to access it.

When external events trigger an internal response, they’re helping us clear density from our bodies and energy fields. This includes past traumas, stored emotions, and things we may have inherited from our family line.

Things are most intense when they’re on their way out. They’re surfacing to be witnessed, integrated, and ultimately cleared.

All that’s required for an event to serve as a clearing is for it to occur. So by just living our life, we’re evolving individually and collectively.

I do think the more conscious we become the quicker we will SEE our patterns, and thus heal the need to repeat them. In this way the process can be expedited and we can create less of our own suffering.

It may also be accompanied by a cathartic emotional release, which is the body’s way of letting go of stored energy.

So whether we view it from the 3D/Earth plane level, or the quantam/entergetic perspective, we really can’t go wrong.

We either win. ..or we win 😉

If everything is for us, then what my friend Becca says is true: “Life is a playground!”
