Personal ownership and clear communication

I experienced inconsistent communication from someone a few weeks ago and it was very triggering. I’ll never know if it was intentional, but it was frustrating nonetheless.

Instead of creating a victim story, I took ownership by exploring why this was suddenly coming into my field.

In other words: “Am I being incongruent or unclear somewhere?”

I firmly believe what we put out we get back, and that we attract what we are.

If I’m experiencing confusion or inconsistentcy from others, that’s my invitation to explore where I’m modeling the very things I say I don’t want.

Turns out, there were two places I wasn’t speaking my truth. I was creating my own suffering by attracting more of the same, which was seriously draining my energy.

Once both of these areas were addressed, I felt a weight lifted off me, and had a great rest of the week. I was even able to cultivate gratitude for the other person mirroring back to me where I needed to tighten up my boundaries.

I am not interested in living in a body or in a world full of unspoken truths. They’re too heavy and unnecessarily deplete our resources.

Clear communication is the kindest thing we can do for ourselves and others. It frees us of entanglements and communicates to the other person where we’re operating from.

May we all commit to being clear and transparent in 2022 and beyond 🙏
