I’ve been working with an Specialized Kinesiology practitioner for a year and a half, and it’s been the single most beneficial modality I’ve found.
Basically if I could only pick one this would be it!
The main thing I’ve learned is healing happens in layers; not necessarily chronological, but there does seem to be a sophisticated and intricate order to it.
If you pay attention you can get into a little “battle rhythm” (for my military people 😉)
Because of this, we can start with a physical or emotional symptom, and it will often clear out the whole layer.
For me a “layer” consists of the following:
• Physical symptom
• Memory (not always accessible, and not required).
• Maladaptive belief (conclusion that I drew from the event- often from a child’s perspective).
• Emotion
We’ve uncovered things I didn’t even know were connected- including foods my body was associating with certain emotions, (and thus would react to), and trauma stored in certain areas of my body that we were able to release.
If I pay attention, then I can see/feel things shifting in my body, my mindset, and my external world for the next 24-48 hours. Often I’ll just lay down and sleep for 12-13 hours to let my body integrate the shifts.
We’ve also used muscle testing to determine what my body’s priority is. For example, I may be due to a parasite cleanse, but not until we balance out sleep/circadian rhythm.
Another example is a few weeks ago I was doing a three day fast, but the muscle testing revealed that it was stressing my adrenals, so I decided to end it a little early.
Some other things that have come up are dehydration, mineral imbalance, vitamin deficiencies, and emotions that were either mine, inherited from someone in my lineage, or that I picked up from someone else (energy transfer).
It’s truly fascinating.
A few resources if you’d like to learn basic concepts are Emotion Code, Body Code, and Power vrs Force. I admittedly haven’t finished these book, but know they can be helpful.
Please reach out if you’d like to hear more about my experience, or if you need a sounding board to determine the next step in your healing journey.
I’m considering practitioner training in Applied Kinesiology, but at this point I would just be sharing as someone who’s benefitted from this modality. 🙌 🌺

Thank you 🙏 for sharing your experience of applying Kinesiology to help identify your healing process. Seems this would help streamline deep level trauma work🪷
