“What are you accessing?”

I’m only 30 minutes into this on Audible, but already have so many thoughts:

• There is so much more than the physical/
material world.

We don’t know what people are being asked to “bring through” or what soul contracts they’ve made. They may hold information from past lives or be tapping into the “collective unconscious.” It’s very arrogant to assume we know it all.

• Every appointment is a devine appointment.

I believe people are matched with the exact
right practitioners to help them get to the
next level. We’re already starting to see  people show up in Western Medicine spaces with concerns that it has no answers for. Ideally, clinicians would adopt an integrative approach and refer to different modalities when needed.

• Our “awakening” will find us.

This psychiatrist just showed up for a typical day at the office and got the equivalent of a psychedelic trip and a few Holotropic breathwork sessions all in one 😂

Im so grateful he was willing to go beyond the
parameters of his training in mental health (medical model) to see and hear her.

He had the discernment and HUMILITY to ask: “What do you have access to that I dont?”

Unfortunately, this isn’t everyones’ story. I can’t help but wonder how things would’ve turned out differently for so many people if their psychiatrist/therapist had viewed them through this lens.

I woke up at 4am one day last week and was thinking about a conversation I had with my friend Zack (tagged in comments).

Suddenly, a spontaneous prayer/declaration arose within me:

“That all healers be allowed to complete their awakening.”

It was unexpected, but in some ways, it wasn’t. I daily think of people that were medicated and admitted to inpatient psychiatric hospitals or given electroshock therapy (yes, this is still happening) and wonder how our world would be different if they’d been held and supported as they birthed their intuitive gifts into the world.

We’re numbing and suppressing the very guidance we so desperately want and need. The answers are hidden in plain sight.

Just because we can’t make sense of it doesn’t mean it doesn’t make sense.

We’ve barely scratched the surface.
