Time travel

Don’t mind me, I’m just reliving my childhood over here πŸ˜„

I drove to PCB for an appointment this morning that ended up getting canceled. I had several hours before I had to be anywhere, so I decided to snap a few pictures of this mini golf course for the blog.

Well, one thing led to another, and I may have climbed up into this Aztec head thing πŸ˜‚

It all started when I saw a man painting the alligator my favorite color: seafoam green MIXED WITH GOLD 😍

I said hi and complimented him on the alligator, and he said heΒ moved here from Jamaica and is helping restore the entire golf course.

He took such pride in each statue and said that when he arrived, the Aztec one was so worn out that no one could enter it. They rebuilt the whole thing, and he said I could go in, but to “watch your head.” πŸ™„

This was an understatement.

I literally crawled the whole way up, then clung on for dear life at the top while I took a few pictures of the view; including Alvin’s Island giftshop (my favorite in the 90’s).

Before I left, he invited me to come back in March once it was finished, and I can’t say for sure that I won’t πŸ˜‰πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

It was a perfect day πŸ’–βœ¨οΈ

. ..the only thing missing was shaved ice, an airbrush T-shirt, and a beaded hair wrap (most likely clip-on because we all know those aren’t allowed at church) πŸ™Œβœ¨οΈ
