I heard this quote by Dr. Cassie Huckaby several months ago, and it really stuck with me. I go in and out with people on social media, so I’m not even sure I was following her, but there it was 🤷♀️
I often say one of the following to myself:
• “You have to play it out.”
• “You get what you need.”
• “Just gotta travel the road.”
Basically, we can’t bypass the human experience.
Whether it’s brief interactions with people, places you visit, relationships, etc, living life is the remedy for. ..the effects of living life 😄
Something can be distressing or painful, but then we’re given a redemptive experience.
We could be unsure about which direction to take, and then we’re shown exactly what we need to obtain clarity.
Certain people come along and trigger us in the exact right way for our growth and/or activate dormant abilities.
We’re given access to material we may not have had otherwise and will learn things that will benefit us farther along on the journey.
We are being healed and restored on deep levels (behind the scenes) at all times- especially during sleep.
There is a movement toward homeostasis and even regeneration in our bodies and our lives.
We can relax into the flow of life and trust that we will be guided and held.
Whenever I get inpatient, I think of this Bible verse:
“. ..and I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” (Phil 1:6)
Amen 🙏✨️
