What if, tho?

Vintage pic of Shelly and Puffy under a blanket fort. ..not to be confused with a pic of just Shelly- there’s another eyeball back there 🙃

I’ve been playing a game lately called: “What if I don’t do this thing?” Aka, “What if I do this other thing?”

Both questions have the power to radically alter the course of your life. Not to be overly dramatic here, but it’s true.

When we disrupt a pattern and do something we wouldn’t normally do, we’re choosing into a different timeline.

I’ve started to observe my natural tendency to do something, then consider what would happen if I didn’t 🤔

The outcome is less important than noticing the space in between the impulse and the knee-jerk reaction.

Consciousness is knowing we have a choice, which is ironically what gives us the choice.

If we happen to choose a different action than we have in the past, we have the privilege of meeting a version of ourselves that we may not have otherwise.

We are simultaneously creating and experiencing different versions of ourselves.

There’s no right or wrong; it’s just fun to play around with 🪷✨️
