Excerpt from the book!

Oh, and a quote from my book! I just finished the rough draft ๐Ÿ™Œ

“As a general rule, the human experience is meant to be witnessed, allowed, and supported, as opposed to analyzed, dissected, and pathologized.

Iโ€™ve seen how taking an overly compartmentalized, and myopic view when it comes to physical and mental health concerns can sometimes result in missing the big picture, and the totality of the person- as well as the interconnectedness of all the parts.

In other words, we miss the forest for the trees.ย

Speaking of trees, this reductionist approach is similar to taking a hatchet to individual trees in an attempt to understand and quantify the forest until you no longer have one.

I highly suspect what is behind the tendency to do this is the need for control, but here’s the thing: the human body and mind are forces of nature. They will not be controlled.

They are wild and ferral, and they will have the final say. We can not escape them, and any attempts to do so will likely result in, well, the situation weโ€™re in right now.”

Stay tuned for the release date for the book and info on how to order ๐Ÿชท๐Ÿ™
