Tree branches or the human nervous system?
. ..or maybe it’s our fascia 🤔

I took these pictures by accident on my hike yesterday and deleted them last night. This morning, I dug them out of the digital trash bin and restored it to my photo album because 😍
Speaking of fascia. I’m convinced that our bodies not only hold our traumas and stuck emotions from this lifetime, but also memories and wisdom from past lives – as well as ancient truths we’re meant to bring forward in this life ✨️
I’ve done Myofascial Release with a practitioner since 2020, and on my own at home since early ’23.
Because I’ve moved a few times since then, I’ve worked with different practitioners- but they were all trained by John Barnes (in case you’re interested in trying MFR).
As I’ve unwound my fascia, I’ve uncovered individual and collective truths, as well as most of what I’ve written in the book.
It is all available to us when we’re to take the time and be present with it 🥹
That’s the challenge, though, isn’t it? 🤔
Even for me, after all these hours of seeing the magic of it firsthand- witnessing true miracles over and over again. ..I still want it to be faster.
I still get inpatient and wish there was another way.
I realized a few weeks ago that fascia is feminine energy- as opposed to our bones, which provide more of a solid structure (masculine energy).
The fascia is mysterious, complex, intricate, untamed 😅
Working with fascia is slow work- especially in the beginning, as we build trust with the body.
We’re offering it an invitation- patience and presence is key.
While there are guiding principles, it’s far from a black and white protocol and makes no promises that 1+1 will always = 2.
I jokingly told my friend last week that “Fascia needs to be communicated with in a very specific way and related to gently. …similar to ayahuasca and Asheville 😂”
If we don’t approach these strong feminine energies with reverence and humility, we may be in for a hard road 🤯
