Potentiality

I don’t share about this a lot, but following an event in 2020, my brain completely changed. The details of that are outside the scope of this post, but I did want to share a little on how I view time.

The difference between my current perspective and my perspective prior to the event is that I’m now acutely aware that all we have is now, and truly nothing exists in the “future”. ..until it does 😅

When we take an action, we’re setting it into motion. Up until that point, there’s only potentiality.

We solidify circumstances by engaging with them. We’re acknowledging they exist, and so they will continue to.

I would’ve said these exact same words starting around 2011, but it’s different now. It’s a felt sense & a way of SEEing.

This is a shift from before because, for the most part, I was still operating under the illusion that there’s a certain trajectory to our lives, or that things are somewhat of a fixed state.

Now, I’m aware of the multiple timelines that are available to us at all times, although we may not realize it because our society is not structured to operate like this.

When making decisions, I choose into the timeline I want, but I try to stay as unattached as possible because something else could show up at any moment.

I would say that the way I see things now is more in line with truth, even though it’s been a little strange to integrate, because most people probably do not view time this way.

Most peoples’ lives aren’t structured to where they can act on what is revealed- or maybe things aren’t revealed to them because they aren’t positioned to accommodate it, and it would just put them in a conflict 🤷‍♀️

I try as much as possible to organize my life so that I can honor the call to do this or that, but sometimes I’m not able to, which is fine. But when I do, then things usually fall into place.

My hope is that we create a world with increased flexibility (living arrangements, time off work, etc) so that when our bodies, hearts, or minds give us a nudge, we’re able to listen and follow-through.

This is my perspective, and I’m not suggesting anyone do anything with it. ..just wanted to share 🙏✨️
